Futureself Group Leaders

Futureself Group Leaders is a program designed for young people who want to grow and become true leaders. It provides the opportunity to take action, organize projects, and make a real contribution to the well-being of their communities. The purpose of this program is to show that leaders are not born—they are developed. With the right tools, support, and experience, anyone can become a strong and responsible leader.

The program operates through local city teams. Each city has its own group of young leaders who plan and implement meaningful projects together. These can range from small initiatives, such as community clean-ups or helping families in need, to larger events like youth camps, charity drives, workshops, or community gatherings that bring people together. By participating in these projects, group members not only help others but also develop essential life skills—communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Futureself Group provides mentorship and support to these teams. This includes guidance from experienced mentors, necessary resources for project planning and execution, and access to a nationwide network of young leaders across Lithuania. The program creates a safe space where participants can grow, learn, and build self-confidence while taking on real responsibilities.

Participation in Futureself Group Leaders is more than just volunteering. It is an opportunity to become part of something greater, where every action has meaning. Program members form lasting friendships, gain leadership experience, and lay the foundation for their personal and professional futures. By working together, young leaders come to understand that they have the power to shape not only their own lives but also their surrounding communities.

If you want to join Futureself Group Leaders, there are two ways to get involved:

1. Join an existing city team – Teams currently operate in the following cities: Vilnius, Rokiškis, Telšiai, Plungė, Alytus, and Panevėžys. Simply find your city’s team and send them a message introducing yourself and expressing your interest in getting involved.

2. Start a new team in your city – If there isn’t a Futureself Group Leaders team in your area, reach out to us via Facebook, Instagram, or email. We will help you create a new city team and support you as you begin making a difference in your community.
